Garden of Remembrance
Here in the Garden of Remembrance you can light a candle in memory of deceased relatives or friends. This candle will burn for as long as we have the internet, which hopefully will be forever. You can light one candle to all your deceased relatives or friends or you can light a candle to to each one of them individually, the choice is yours.
Light a Candle
The Garden of remembrance allows you enter the details of your loved one, their name, the date they died as well as allowing you to add their photograph. It also encourages you to say something about the person in the Your/Their Story section. When you have entered all the details just press preview. The preview button permits you to see what you have written and gives you an opportunity to change it if it is necessary, when you are happy with what you have written then proceed to light a candle. When you have clicked the light a candle button the process is complete.
Guide to Registration:
After you have clicked the light a candle button you will be sent an email giving you
your password,when you receive this password you then become an existing user. When you want to go back to your place in the Garden of Remembrance just type in your email address and your password in the existing user box, this will give you and you alone access to your details again allowing you to add or change something you may have written previously by using the little edit button at the side of their name.If you forget or loose your password don't worry you can be sent a new one.
Visitors to the website:
We realise that a lot of our visitors to the www.springtowncamp.com website were
not from Springtown Camp but came from other parts of Derry and beyond.We also know
from our emails that these people are now scattered all over the world, so with
that in mind we have added a list of other areas of Derry and beyond so they too
can light a candle on line for their loved ones.Just click on the drop down bar to
see if your area is there ,if it is not let us know and we will add it.
Problem Solving:
Please don't forget if you have any problems using this section of the website do not hesitate to contact us as we will be delighted to do what ever it takes to get you registered and have your candle lit.
