Poet's Corner

I do know that we have a number of poets who were born in Springtown Camp.
I will be publishing some of their work at the Poet's Corner shortly.Now while we certainly welcome all poems on and about Springtown Camp, for any one who wants to have their poems published, the poems themselves do not nescessarily have to be about Springtown Camp.The choice of topic is down to the writer.....

Switching on of the Christmas Lights – A Unique Event
As part of Chatterday, a unique event will be taking place at Springtowncamp.com at 8pm on the Saturday evening – the official "Switching on of the Christmas Lights". A well known celebrity will be entrusted with pushing the big red button to initiate the Christmas festivities; a unique online event certainly, just like the Springtown Camp story itself. 24 Hour Chatterday to Launch on 2nd December
Saturday, 2nd December (this coming Saturday) has been chosen to be the first ever Springtown Camp Chatterday. The aim of the event is to get as many Springtowners, their families and friends, and indeed anyone else interested online during a 24 hour period talking with each other and perhaps catching up.
