Great site and a story worthy of a great book . I helped with a book on the War Memorial and it was funded by the heritage lottery fund. I also think the same fund put money up for research on 3 holes in the ground filled with water called the Creggan reservoirs? Surely they couldn't turn this one down!

Just discovered this wonderful site and want to say Hello to Sadie, Ruby and Benny Clingain. I knew them after they came to live in Creggan. Their back garden backed on to ours and I spent many memorable Sunday afternoons having tea and all the trimmings in their hospitable house. Ben was one of my best pals. I'd love to hear from you all and maybe swop some photographs and memories.

i was in creggan in derry two weeks ago i went to see my auntie and uncle in derry i would like to say hellow to all my cousins and jimmy kelly in derry i am delighted to have found my roots in derry and spring town camp after forty five years
