Hi thats me and mother on image 207 my father was Seamus Gallagher and my mother Mary i have vague memories of living in the camp i am about 2yrs old in the photo we left for England in 1958 my brothers where born in the camp Many thanks for a great site Mardie

Just to say hello to everyone. I've just received a copy of the Springtown Camp book and look forward to reading it. I was born in No.78 and we left in 1966/67. I try to get back to Derry once a year. Best wishes.

Hi i was born in Springtown Camp, My parents name were Eddie and Mary Bridget Kelly. My hut number was 149. My youngest brother Johnny who was in the camp also passed away in the early 1980's. My sisters Maggie and Georgina who were also in the camp, passed away last year. My other brothers and sister who were also is the camp,Eddie, Willie and Bernedette are all keeping well in London here. Any one who remembers us would be great to hear from you via the e-mail address.
